The lecture 'Real or virtual space? Mobility and tourism of the future" will be presented by Monika Bąk, PhD, Professor of the University of Gdansk
Abstract: Advanced technological solutions have entered the world of services, including transport and tourism. Virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) are developing dynamically and are no longer just an area of interest for computer gamers. Will the limitations of pandemic displacement make virtual tourism replace real displacement? Will new technologies (autonomous vehicles, intelligent transport systems, ICT in public transport) solve the current problems of transport and mobility systems (low efficiency, disintegration, pollution, congestion, accidents)?
