Registration for elective subjects
Regulations for registration in elective subjects
1. Students of the UG Faculty of Chemistry are required to enroll in elective subjects (faculties) if they are provided for in the program of study. Registration should be done online through the Student Portal.
2. In a given academic year, registration is carried out 2 times:
- in November - for full-time and part-time first-year students of the chemistry II degree program for the 2nd semester.
- in February, March and April - for all first and second year undergraduate students for semesters 3,4, 5, 6 and 7,
- in May - for first-year full-time and part-time chemistry II students for semester 3 and for first-year full-time chemistry II business students for semester 2.
Detailed registration deadlines are determined annually by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Education.
3. Registration is carried out in 2 rounds, with only those students whose subject is not launched in the first round participating in the second round.
4. The number of students in classes is determined by the Order of the Rector of the University of Gdansk No. 98/R/21 dated July 6, 2021.
5. The list of elective subjects (faculties) can be consulted by the student before registration; it is available online on the home page of the UG Department of Chemistry.
6. Once the lists of elective subjects have been closed, it is not possible to rewrite to another subject.
7. The Vice-Dean of Student Affairs and Education will assign top-down elective subjects to students who have not made their choices within the prescribed deadlines.
8. The Coordinator of the Registration Module is an employee of the Dean of Students Office appointed by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Education..
9. In the case of a small number of the year in a particular field of study/specialization, the Enrollment Module Coordinator may change the form of registration from electronic to paper version.
10. In particularly justified cases, by decision of the Vice-Dean of Student Affairs and Education, registration in faculties may end after the first round.
