INVITATION TO THE CONGRESS
Supported by the "Social Responsibility of Science" programme of the Ministry of Education and Science
Ladies and Gentlemen, Supervisors and Students of Research Circles,
we have the honour to invite you to participate in the conference "Congress of Economic and Environmental Student Circles
and Ecological Student Circles (KEEKS)", which will be held at the Faculty of Economics and Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Gdańsk on 26 March 2021.
The idea of the congress was conceived at the Faculty of Economics in 2017 on the initiative of the supervisors of the scientific circles (KN International Finance, KN European Forum for European Integration, KN Consilium). The aim of the organised congress is to create a platform for the exchange of views and knowledge in the field of ecology and environmental protection, economics and international economic relations, as well as the results of interdisciplinary research and to enable the scientific development of students gathered in scientific circles. Participation in the event will be an excellent opportunity to mark the presence of scientific circles in the academic environment. You are encouraged to present your research results during moderated thematic sessions.
This year's edition of the event is organised as part of the project 'Science Clubs at the University of Gdańsk - known and unknown faces of science' under the Social Responsibility of Science/Excellent Science programme, funded by the Minister of Education and Science. The thematic scope of the Congress has been broadened to include aspects related to the implementation of the concepts of sustainable development and social responsibility of science.
The 2021 event will be organised in an online/hybrid format or in a stationary format if pandemic conditions allow. We hope that the Congress will be favourably received by you in this format. Scientific circles and lecturers together with students are invited to participate.
Please send your scientific circles' applications for participation in the Congress by 01 February 2021 to: oblicza.nauki@ug.edu.pl. Applications should include the following information:
- name of the scientific society,
- title of the speech,
- abstract (maximum length 1000 characters)
- keywords (max. 5).
