Essentials for a good start

1. Agreement

   You can sign an agreement with the University of Gdańsk in the Dean's office. You have 30 days for that task (time is counted from the beginning of the class)

Download the document from  Student's Portal, print in two copies, and sign.

2. Student ID card and index

STUDENT ID CARD – you will apply for it via Student Portal. They will be collected at the Dean's Office upon submission of the medical certificate no earlier than 1 October. The fee for an ID card is 22 PLN, and a duplicate is 33 PLN.

INDEX – At the University of Gdansk, an index in electronic form is mandatory. You can access it by logging in to Student Portal.

You will receive detailed information about accident insurance from Students' Parliament.

5. UG Library

Essential information on the use of UG libraries.

Registration takes place automatically when you pass mandatory library training. A link to the library training will be available once you have logged in correctly to the Education Portal, under the Your Courses section.

6. Organisational meeting with the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs and Education at the UG Faculty of Chemistry

7. Adaptation camp for new Students

It is organised every year by the Student Parliament. An integration trip for first-year Students, during which you will get to know other freshmen and assimilate all the most important information.
