Master's studies

Master's laboratory

Students of the second degree studies - all specialties - immediately after the end of the recruitment choose the Department/Studio in which they intend to perform their master’s thesis and at the same time implement a block of subjects related to it:

  • specialist lecture,
  • specialist laboratory,
  • master's seminar,
  • master's degree

The selection of the Department/Studio is based on the information - concerning the proposed scientific and research subject - placed on the home page of the given Department/Studio.

We cordially invite you to perform a master’s thesis in our labs.

Our offer is addressed to students of all specialties. The subject of work carried out in our lab concerns the broadly understood field of carbohydrate chemistry. A detailed description of the subject matter can be found under the theme of research, right next to the name of the employee of our lab. Apart from purely experimental works, the Laboratory of Glycochemistry also offers the possibility to perform computational works based on theoretical chemistry methods, taking into account quantum chemistry methods. The students perform their master’s thesis in laboratories.

In order to meet the problems associated with the selection of optional subject and the need to obtain an appropriate number of ECTS points, we suggest choosing a specific subject path in which optional subject are related thematically. While maintaining the principle of complete freedom of choice, choosing the right set of subjects will facilitate the implementation of the master’s thesis in our lab.

We suggest the following set of subject.

Note: If you need to complete more ECTS credits, we leave the student with full freedom of choice of subjects, especially those that he intends to pursue in the semester 3 and 4.
