BSc diploma

To address the problems related to the choice of elective subjects and the need to obtain the appropriate number of ECTS credits, we suggest choosing a subject path in which the elective subjects are thematically related and are also related to the so-called block of diploma subjects. While respecting the principle of complete freedom of choice, choosing the appropriate block of diploma subjects makes it easier to decide whether to continue studying at the second degree and thus choose the Department/Institute where the Student intends to do his Master’s thesis.

Medical Chemistry (CH-M), Cosmetic Chemistry (CH-K) and Chemistry (CH) students choose during the 2nd and 4th semester of their studies the appropriate number of hours of elective subjects (optional), complementing compulsory and specialty subjects.

During the 4th semester of their studies, students also choose the Department or Department where they will carry out - in the 6th semester - the so-called block of diploma subjects. Obligatory subjects included in this block are: specialization lecture, diploma seminar and diploma workshop.

In the case of the Laboratory of Sugar Chemistry, which is part of the Department of Organic Synthesis, the block of diploma subjects is run jointly by the two units mentioned.

Additional information can be obtained from the manager and employees of the Department.
