Student internships

Internships and apprenticeships

Good practice is not a waste of time!

During the apprenticeship, students gain valuable knowledge and experience in the field with which they relate their future.

Thanks to the apprenticeship, students:

  • gain work experience which will pay off in future jobs

  • verify their professional aptitude

  • present themselves to a potential employer

  • acquire professional references

  • test the knowledge acquired during studies

  • establish contacts or permanent cooperation

The new 'Law on Higher Education' introduces compulsory internships in degree programmes with a practical profile. Their aim is to complement the knowledge gained during studies and prepare for future work. Internships can be financed by universities within the framework of subsidies from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and additionally from European funds.

Dear Student,

experience is one of your greatest assets when looking for a job.
