RESEARCH AREA
• Determination of natural (210Po, 210Pb, 234U, 235U, 238U) and artificial radionuclides (55Fe, 63Ni, 238Pu, 239+240Pu, 241Pu, 241Am) in environmental samples
• Mechanisms of accumulation of natural and artificial radionuclides in terrestrial and marine ecosystems organisms
• Radiological consequences of radionuclides collected from air and food, and as a result of cigarette smoking for inhabitants of Poland
• Determination of radioactive disequilibrium 210Po/210Pb, 234U/238U oraz 238Pu/239+240Pu in research of sources of polonium, uranium and plutonium in natural ecosystems
• The impact of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster on the radioactive contamination of Poland
• Determination of natural (210Po, 210Pb, 234U, 235U, 238U) and artificial radionuclides (238Pu, 239+240Pu, 241Pu) in samples of natural origin (e.g. drinking water, beer, mushrooms, hair, animal fur, urine, blood, sweat samples)
